Women's Self-Defence Training

For Women, By Women

Guardian Defence has a long history of providing reality based self-defence training to women, beginning as 'Fight Like A Girl' in 2006. Since then we have had the privilege of providing training to thousands of women, with many going on to become high ranked students and instructors.

All of our sessions are female friendly with a strong focus on being an inclusive, safe and welcoming space for all genders. We also run training specifically for those female identified on a regular basis.

With several female instructors on staff, female students also have the opportunity to book private tuition with a female instructor if they so choose. Just let us know when booking.

Call us on 03 9383 4848 for further information.

Picnic Catch Up with Guardian Staff Sun, 19 Nov 2017 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

The weather is heating up and it's time to hit the park and have some social time. This family friendly park has lots of shade and open grass. Bring your picnic rug and lunch (alcohol is permitted in the park).

This is a chance for everyone to get to know each other so don't worry if you don't already know anyone, just come along!

We will meet close to the kids play equipment. See you there!

Bartender's Self-Defence Workshop with AJ Kearns Mon, 4 Dec 2017 at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

We understand the position bar staff are placed in on a daily basis at work and on their trip home. During this three hour workshop you will learn how to deescalate situations, as well as what to do if they flare up into a violent encounter.

This tailored training experience will give you the confidence to physically deal with threatening situations such as sexual harassment and physical violence. From grabs and chokes releases, through to the utilisation of your space and surroundings to increase your ability to defend. You will gain the physical and emotional confidence to protect yourself should the need arise.
